Hello, my name is Awesam_man. I feel like the donor crates need to be changed a bit. Below is a picture of the current Donor Crate Key drops. If you look at the crate you may notice that there are a lot of spawn eggs. And I mean this is good right? No it is not! Currently a single Donor Crate key is $3. And there is a 18/40 chance of using that $3 key and getting a spawn egg that only cost $5000 in game. I believe either the price of the crate should be lowered down to possibly $1.50 or that the spawn eggs should be removed from the Donor Crate. Either way it makes the crate better, and could possibly boost sales on them. Another small change is that the diamond boots in the top right hand corner could be removed. They are unnecessary because there is already a pair of diamond boots in the chest, so why do we need another? These are a few changes that could be made to the Donor Crate that would improve it and could boost its sales.
I'd say remove all of the spawn eggs AND the spare boots too. There should be money notes in there, as well as maybe more chance for powerful weapons? 1 odd per weapon out of the crate isn't very good. But overall, the donor crate needs to be changed (and ideally the vote crate too, it's not great and does not motivate players to vote. Getting 6k per vote is a lot when you start, but for more advance players it's not necessarily worth the hassle).
Love what both of you said, I completely agree! An idea would be that maybe duplicate items (items detected on your character) could be transferred into money notes. Could be a hard script to create but if they can make it happen then I think it would be a cool idea.
I do agree about the spawn eggs. At least remove the ones you can get in the /shop. I also think it wouldn't hurt to consider what $3.00 of real money is worth of in game money, since insuring a roughly equal value for the donor crate rewards would make them more appealing.
I think getting rid of the spawn eggs you can get in the shop and replacing them with shulker and iron golem eggs or spawners would do the trick for me.
I completely agree with what Dezimirung said about the vote crate, atm there isn't much good stuff in there. Also about the money, 6k can't really get you much in terms of good stuff. However, I feel that if the amount was increased very much it would become too OP. Plus, 6k per vote means that if you vote all 6 times, you get 36k which is a pretty decent amount of money.
Once you get to prestige 1 even 36k is a very minimal amount of money. What could happen is if you are a higher rank you get more cash which would bring in more votes overall and give higher ranks a reason to vote. All of these posts are very good ideas though, hope one of them gets added to the game!
Now that it's said this seems like a great idea. However I think it should increase only a little with rank but increase more with the number of times you've voted (consecutively or not, up to dev's and admins) e.g. if you vote 12 times you start getting 8 or 9k instead, whereas with rank you get something like 1k per rank. This may be hard to implement (I don't know the first thing about coding though so idk) but in my opinion, it would be a good encouragement to vote and to have higher ranks vote.
I couldn't have said it better! Should be pretty easy to implement, it is just making a variable then adding to it every time you receive a voting key. Definitely not impossible.
Well, to be fair that's why the points shop was added; I think we should wait for them to re-implement that before we start discussing further changes to the voting system.
