Hi all, After noticing an abundance of issues where someone hops on the server and spams/trolls etc, I figured I'd make a suggestion for a new staff-like role called "Mediator". This role is essentially just a helper for the server. They'd play as normal but for any occasions where staff aren't reachable they can /tempmute to stop the chat getting spammed. Not sure what other commands this server has but figured this is a starting point. I'll add a poll 'cause why not. Let me know your thoughts! Cheers, Me
I disagree. Having a helper rank would be nothing but a tease to players, these helpers would expect more for the future and players would be like "ooo u know that person is getting trainee" etc which isn't what we want to portray on our platforms. We truly believe that the individuals that are picked out of applications are truly helpful enough, we can never get enough staff which is why our applications are closed. Instead of creating a new staff role, could we instead give commands like tempmute to trusted players so that they can help moderate chat when no staff are online?
