This are the official list of the rules for all PF platforms. If you’re feeling uncertain about if something is allowed or not, please contact a staff member and they will be able to assist you accordingly. Rules are subject to change at any given time, so please make sure to regularly check for any changes. If you break a chat offence physically by blocks, signs, books or similar then they'll be changed to a ban instead of a mute.

Please notice that before standard chat related punishments are broken
you will be given a warning; however, if the intent to spam, advertise, etc excessively
you'll be punished instantly. The same applies to signs, books, and more.
Staff members can give you a warning instead of the actual offence punishment at any time depending on the context and situation.

If punishment is given that isn't listed in these offence rules
then they have been approved. These usually can be found in IP punishments,

    permanent punishments, or custom punishments.

If a rule isn't clarified in the correct description, what you may feel might
be a rule or if we enforce something that isn't a rule then MAY still be a punishable
offence. Please contact staff beforehand to get some clarification.

    Chat Disruption
    Punishment:

    (Warning before any committed offence)
    First offence: 5m mute
    Second offence: 15m mute
    Third offence: 1h mute

Spamming - Spamming in chat is not allowed, if you're going to put many short messages in a row, try to condese them into one chat instead. Generally 3+ messages in quick succession is considered spamming.

Example: "im" "gonna" "scream", "3" "2" "1" "go!", "bruh" "bruh" "bruh" "bruh"
Character Spam (Charspam) - Charspam is 6+ repetitive characters in a row, though it can be punished for less if the intent was clearly to spam.
    Example: "gfaklgfjkjk" "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa "10000000000"
Excessive Caps - Refers to 6+ capital letters or multiple words in a message being capital.
    Example: "I AM FARMING" "EXCELLENT!"
Spacing - Spacing letters out is not allowed, this can mean any characters between letters for the purpose of making the words larger.
    Example: "b_r_u_u_h" "b i g m e s s a g e : )"
Begging - Begging is to ask for something multiple times in chat quickly enough to be disruptive. This can be for money, items, to buy or sell something, etc. A good guideline is to space messages like this by 5 minutes if you're going to continuously ask.
Example: "can i have money pls" "hiring people to farm for me!" "hey can anyone buy me ult i'll pay 250k!!!"
Controversial Topics - Intentionally bringing up controversial topics that result in a community disagreement will lead to a server mute. Controversial topics include but are not limited to, politics, religion, genders, and other sensitive topics.

English Only - English is the only permitted language allowed around Peaceful Farms public settings. You cannot speak other languages in public chat; however, you are allowed to speak other languages in other chats like party chat, network message, normal message, and others.
The reason for this rule isn't at all to discriminate against other players. This is solely due to the fact that most staff cannot moderate in other languages so this limits us. Players have reported other players talking in different languages incorrectly/wrongly about them which is why this rule is in place.

    Mentioning Server Names
    Punishment:

    (Warning before any committed offence)
    First offence: 5m mute
    Second offence: 15m mute
    Third offence: 1h mute

Mentioning server names is not as serve as advertising, although it still isn't allowed. The only server that you are allowed to mention is very big, well-known servers and you're only allowed to mention these servers via private chat. Also, the phrase "Do you want to go play [mini-game]" is not allowed as it indirectly advertises for players to go play on other servers. This isn't allowed in public chat.

    Player Disrespect (sub. Harassment, etc)
    Punishment:
    First offence: 1h Mute
First offence (Serious Case): 30d Ban

    Second offence: 3h Mute
Second offence (Serious Case): 90d Ban

    Third offence: 1d Ban
Third offence (Serious Case): Permanent Ban

This rule includes offences related to bullying, discrimination, and harassment. There is a strict zero-tolerance for any forms of the above and those caught in violation will be handled accordingly. Staff members are trained to settle all player disrespect cases in a fair matter; however, if you feel the situation was misinterpreted then we invite you to explain this in your appeal here. Please note that these punishment lengths are guidelines but are often modified by staff members based on the level of disrespect.

Harassment isn't at all tolerated on Peaceful Farms and we take this seriously. Trying to find ways to message players when you're ignored by them all the way to continuing to contact them outside of Peaceful Farms. You can only be punished for this if the above has been repeated several times after being told to stop the first time. Again punishment lengths for this may be adjusted or different depending on the level of harassment.

    Disrupting Staff
    Punishment:
    (Warning before any committed offence)
    First offence: 30m Mute
    Second offence: 1h Mute
    Third offence: 3h Ban

Staff members are in their position to keep the server free of rule breakers. Arguing with a staff member's actions or decisions will result in punishment. This can range from outright arguing with staff over a punishment, to minimodding while a staff member is already handling a situation. If you have an issue with how a staff member is handling a situation, please be sure to report them here.

    Inappropriate Content (sub. Excessive Swearing)
    Punishment:
    First offence: 1h Mute
First offence (Inappropriate Username): Permanent Ban

    Second offence: 12h Mute
    Third offence: 1d Ban

The Peaceful Farms staff team does not tolerate any kind of inappropriate content within the community. Inappropriate content refers to any instance of racism, sexual/pornographic material, drug references, and excessive vulgar messages. (This includes nicknames, suffixes, and IGNS if blatant) This applies to being spoken in chat, written on signs, written in a book, or being portrayed in build form. Extreme offences i.e. offensive/racial slurs etc aren't permitted even in private chats such as party chat or /msg.

Excessive Swearing - Although "Swearing"/Cursing is allowed, you cannot use other curse words in the context to insult, be inappropriate, racist or offensive. "Fuck you" isn't allowed but saying "Fuck" or "Fucking" is allowed.

    "Bitch',"Slut","Dick","Asshole","Cum","Cunt" or similar, aren't allowed.

NEW: Joining the Peaceful Farms network with an inappropriate username will result in a permanent ban as listed above. You are now allowed to join on an alternative account as long as the in-game name is appropriate and you will now not be banned for ban evasion.

    Abusing profit shops
    Punishment:
    First offence: 7d Ban
    Second offence: 14d Ban
    Third offence: 30d Ban

Abusing profit shops is to create profit shops in and/or close to the chunks that auto farms (crops and mobs) are in, to load the auto farms. A profit shop must be at least 75 blocks away from an Automated farm.
Auto farms can only be near a pwarp or chest shop if it is available for public use for the community. If these are not available for everyone to use, the punishments above will follow.

NEW: All items from /prices are now blacklisted from all profit/chest shops. All chests that do not comply with this rule will be removed and a punishment will be issued according to the format above.
(Note: This currently only applies for Carrot. This rule will be added to potato after it's next reset)

NEW: It is now prohibited to create an automatic iron farm for public use (eg. pwarps). All auto iron farms must flow into chests rather than drop onto the ground (please see AFK Abuse for further information as to why). Iron can be sold at a separate location within a chest shop, but must be at least 75 blocks away from your farm.
(Note: This currently only applies for Carrot. This rule will be added to potato after it's next reset)

Building in a 75 block radius to another farm.
    Punishment:
First offence: Warning/ The claim/base will be moved.
    Second offence: 12 hour ban
    Third offence: 3d Ban

Building in a 75 block radius to another base that hasn't permitted you to be there. The claim owner must be there first for this rule to be enforced. Conjoined player bases with 1 claim cannot be enforced by this rule, you'll have to resolve it with yourselves and come up with a solution to who will own the claim and base. Please notice that if a players base looks like they're expanding, have signs saying they're expanding, OR tell you personally they're expanding, please consider moving far away as this will also break this rule. If you'd like to request a build to be moved that is within the standard radius, please contact an administrator on http://discord.peacefulfarms.net/

Before requesting a build to be moved from its current location, you'll have to personally mail them before a moderator to inform the Administration. If they don't respond within 15 days then you can request a build to be moved if the player is both inactive and the build was made after your build. Players cannot move to a location where the player may expand too.

Selling Kit Items (Normal kits and donator kits!)
    Punishment:
    First offence: 1d Ban
    Second offence: 3d Ban
    Third offence: 7d Ban

Selling items received from /kit <params> is not allowed. This isn't allowed to be sold anywhere including but not limited to; /ah. You can; however, gift kit items to friends/ or similar for FREE at no cost. This is solely your decision and you cannot claim these to be your items once passed along to another member.

please be aware that this doesn't include donor crate items.

    Scamming
    Punishment:
    First offence: 1d Ban
    Second offence: 3d Ban
    Third offence: 7d Ban

Trying to trick players out of their money by promising false things is not allowed on the server. Anything that goes from making fake gambling machines, lottery, or even changing names of keys or tripwires to act as keys is all considered scamming.

    Command Abuse
    Punishment:
    First offence: 1d Ban
    Second offence: 3d Ban
    Third offence: 7d Ban

Command abuse is the act of intentionally abusing your in-game permissions. Some examples are: going in and out of /AFK to spam the chat, spam /pay directed towards players, spam /tpa, etc. Caught abusing your commands will result in a direct ban for the proper offence. The use of using /enchant for the benefit of selling the item is also not permitted.

    AFK Abuse
    Punishment:
(For newly joined players that have less than a week joined, you will receive a warning)
    First offence: 3d Ban
    Second offence: 7d Ban
    Third offence: 14d Ban

If abuse consists of AFK pools/machines, AFK relogging, macros, or auto clickers to prevent you from going AFK or prevent you from getting to the point of being kicked for idling. If you’re standing next to an auto farm, you’ll have to be actively moving or active in chat. AFK abuse also consists of moving tiny bits now and then solely to avoid going AFK and afking until being kicked then manually logging back in just to go AFK again. Staff will not hesitate to punish anyone caught breaking this rule, you are responsible for your own actions. Please note that AFK Fish farms and nano farms also fall under this rule.

    Alt Abuse
    Punishment:
    First offence: 3d Ban
    Second offence: 7d Ban
    Third offence: 14d Ban

Controlling multiple accounts at the same time is not allowed outside of key parties and transferring items from account to account. During these situations you may have at most 3 alt accounts online, and once the key party is over or you've transferred what items you meant to, you must disconnect the extra accounts. Please note this rule is only intended for accounts that are controlled by the same person, and does not apply for different people controlling two different accounts (siblings, roommates, etc) This is mainly to prevent people from connecting extra accounts purely to load farms, which may cause lag or cause an unfair advantage to players who don't have the extra accounts to load their farms. If you are unsure about a situation where alts may or may not be allowed please feel free to ask staff whether or not it'd be allowed.

    Advertising
    Punishment:
    First offence: 7d Ban
    Second offence: 30d Ban
    Third offence: Permanent Ban

Advertising refers to sharing content with intentions to draw players away from the server. An example of this may be sharing videos and links of other servers. Any content that is relevant to Peaceful Farms itself can be shared. You can share your social media as long as you intend to keep in touch with friends, but if you are found using social media to draw players away from the server, that will count as an offence. Any links or social media names, with exclusion of direct relation with Peaceful Farms (ex: discord.peacefulfarms.net), should only be shared in private messages.

    Grief (sub. Stealing, Trespassing)
    Punishment:
(Public Farms First offence: warning, then follow regular grief rules after)
    First offence: 3d Ban
    Second offence: 7d Ban
    Third offence: Permanent Ban

Grief - Deliberately destroying another community member’s creations is strictly prohibited. You cannot touch another player's property without full permission from the owner. The build doesn't need to be claimed in-order to determine whether or not it's considered grief, it's strictly not at all allowed. Those caught griefing will be punished and have their actions rolled back accordingly.

Public Farms - Farms that require trust are treated the same as normal grief and will follow the guidelines above. Farms that do not require trust will have a warning given first then follow the punishments above for additional offences.
Stealing - We also classify stealing another's belongings in this category. You cannot steal another players fish from /warp fishing(If you have accidentally done this please return the fish and mention that). Claiming another players base/build without permission is also considered grief.
Trespassing - Trespassing is to go to another player's base or player warp, and not leaving after being told several times not to, as well as finding ways to get back to the base after you were asked to leave.

    Abusing Glitches and Bugs
    Punishment:
    First offence: 3d Ban
    Second offence: 7d Ban
    Third offence: 14d Ban

If you discover a glitch or bug you are required to report it here immediately. Users caught exploiting the server will be punished as they are creating an unfair advantage for themselves. Users caught exploiting the server with the sole intention of creating lag will be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

    Lag Machines & Abusing
    Punishment:
    First offence: 3d Ban
    Second offence: 7d Ban
    Third offence: 14d Ban

Creating ANY form of lag machine is strictly disallowed and will be met with a ban, if committed on a significant enough scale, this may be approved for a permanent ban regardless of offense number.

Creating a farm that directly causes the server to lag and/or avoiding mechanics set in place to reduce lag (mob stacking, item stacking, etc) will result in staff setting a 3 day time people to fix said "Lag Farm". If this 3 day time limit is exceeded without the lag being resolved, said farm will be removed by admins and the appropriate ban for that offense will be issued.

If you are unsure whether or not a design would cause lag, or what would be considered a lag machine, please contact any of our staff members before building it.

    Hacked Clients or Blacklisted Modifications
    Punishment:
    First offence: 30d Ban
    Second offence: Permanent Ban

Using a client or modification which creates an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
You can view a list of modifications that have been approved by clicking here.
If you'd like to request a modification to be on the whitelist please contact an administrator.
If your modifications aren't advantageous and only give cosmetic changes, it's allowed.

    Trolling
    Punishment:
    First offence: 30d Ban
First offence (New Player): Permanent Ban

    Second offence: Permanent Ban

Trolling is the act of purposefully, and repeatedly, breaking rules to cause trouble. This applies only if the intent to disrupt the server or break rules is apparent, and smaller singular punishments does not fall under this rule. Trolling can include ban or mute speedruns (trying to get banned/muted as fast as possible), or breaking multiple rules one after another in an effort to bother players or staff that are currently online. For the case of players who've just joined the server and immediately start breaking rules, this will result directly in a permanent ban, as it's seen that they've joined solely to cause problems.

    Punishment Evasion

Mute - Users who find themselves muted in-game may not communicate with others by using signs, books, or other chat methods. If you are caught breaking this rule your account will be temporarily banned for the remainder of your mute.
Ban - If you have been banned in-game, you cannot use another account to come back online. The only way of getting unbanned sooner is through the ban appeal process. If you are caught breaking this rule, it will result in a permanent ban.
(Note: This does not apply for accounts banned for inappropriate username)

If you're to evade a punishment that is issued to your account, using other accounts to access Peaceful Farms will get those accounts permanently banned. Your main account will stay the duration of the current punishment it has; however, if the evading is excessive, Moderators can proceed to permanently ban the main account.
