Hello people Stijn here, I am making custom textures for custom items, like the valentine hoe and pickaxe. I would like to make some nice custom armors (maybe they will have a nice benefit in the future). But you wont be able to see them without optifine dowloaded. So the question is: Do you use optifine? I'll post a picture of some armor so you have an idea what i am talking about.
When you post the final textures it should be either stickied or have a download link separate from the forums. Also please just retexture the custom items, I like seeing the default items with the default textures. Thanks for taking the time to do this! I can't wait to see the finished product!
yes i will only make textures for the custom items, it will be a texture pack overlay so you can still use default or an other texture pack with it
Would we have to use this resource pack? I find it extremely difficult to load resource packs on servers; this would stop me from playing.
You shoudn't have any problems loading it. It's a 16x16 texture pack, so it shouldn't be any more resource intensive than default textures are. Also you don't have to use any resource pack, this would just be a cool thing for those who want it.
