The chat in /pc is always green.. too green.. I think it would be nice to be able to change the colors. Just adds more color options.
I'd also like to see this, maybe in the same colors as the /nickname ones but having them be automatically unlocked for party chat. It would be cool if everyone could change their own colors, but also if the party leader could set a different color than green for everyone. I know that we can already change the colors in party chat. It would just be cool if they stuck with those colors on different messages without having to type the color code each time.
It might be possible to change the color but MCMMO is one of the few plugins we don't have a fully custom version of. Yes we have made some modifications to it but its very complex to modify and manage updates.
Looks like it would be possible to change all party chat color from green to some other color by overriding Chat.Style.Party and Chat.Style.Party.Leader in mcMMO/locales/locale_override.properties but there is no built in way to have different colors by party or by player and would need a custom solution
Was digging around McMMO code while learning how to make plugins and noticed it throws a custom McMMOPartyChatEvent, so I went ahead and used that to make a plugin that lets users set a color for their party chat messages SaberSupe/McMMOChatColor: Spigot plugin the lets players set a their own mcmmo party chat color (github.com)
Butters gave me a list of things to know before applying, decided I'd just make plugins that show I know them Also wanna rock the Prestige 5 prefix for a bit before covering it up lol So I'll be applying soon™
I may be wrong but i think dev classifies as a subrole so unless you become admin by becoming dev i dont think you would have a prefix
Dev gets access to beta and some codebase/beta test server access. It is a standalone role (so is builder) with its own application process. Butters roadmap to admin: Trainee > Mod > SrMod > Admin Dev > ^ (Still Dev)
Smh pb misunderstood what saber meant I think. Saber talked about P5 suffix saying he wanted to get p5 before applying fro a position which pb didnt understand i think..
I guess I should chime in to clarify lol I want to get P5 first so I can have the Prestige+++++ in front of my name for a while to show it off. When you get accepted as Dev you get a green Dev prefix and your rank is no longer visible, same as the other staff. At least last time I played Dev's got their own prefix, I remember Butters only having the green Dev Infront of their name when I started.
