Hello everybody! Just here to say that i am rather dismayed to learn that Spawn Eggs of all types were removed from the cash shop and is now only available in the points shop. I learnt from a quick chat with some staff members that the removal was an attempt to emphasize the value of them as well as to reduce the amount of methods to obtain them. Being able to only get a chance at them now is by reaction crates, only if you had quick fingers and managed to type the word in, in time, before anyone else and roll for a chance at it, which is unreliable because you may not get an egg at all or you might not get the type u want. Another option is to buy the keys from players who won them, but then again that is using cash- the conventional way of obtaining these eggs. The only reliable method is by points and even then u can't really "farm" it like how u farm cash - selling crops. At only 6 a day through voting. So what I'm suggesting is that there be a quicker way to obtain points, such as a conversion of cash to points or that the eggs be available in cash once again, albeit at a higher price since staff, wanted to increase their value in the first place. I know it sucks if i wanted to buy eggs but with a day's worth of voting i can only purchase 1 spawner and i have to wait a full 24hr to then get the eggs to turn it. I know grinding is hard and boring, but what is worse is u need to wait a full 2 day just to get ONE spawner of your type to work, when you could have done so in one day before with the purchase of eggs using cash. Most people may not see an issue because they are already established enough on the server by playing the last few months, but the rich will only get richer, and the newcomer will have a harder time climbing through the ranks, which was what the main reason was, for the latest reset. But i do see some already struggling by asking in public chat if anyone is selling points because there is no good way to obtain them as of now and it is not even an in-game mechanic so to speak, its a voting system that you do outside of the game itself... So once again i would like to propose a way to better obtain these spawn eggs be added, an in game mechanic such as cash which you can earn in the game itself, whilst playing the game/on the server. A way to convert cash to points or have them be available to purchase using cash as before, albeit at a higher cost. PS: 24 egg types were collectively available in the old cash and points shop, but only 21 is available in this new shop. Why were 3 of them removed? I would like them to be added back as an option too. They were zombie pigmen, slime and magma cube. Thanks for reading Regards, Zortorch
i agree! aren't mc servers supposed to be fun? who wants to wait for that long for such a little amount. I think you should make it so you can get points a lot easier, or just re-add egg to the cash shop
so in a sense, people are getting the eggs using cash. So why not just offer it in cash in the shop? The thing is if everyone is using cash, to get to the points or reaction keys, why not just use cash and make it less complicated? I understand people are selling and buying points but there isn't enough going around. I still see players constantly asking in public chat if anyone is selling. Over the course of many days.
Ahh thanks for clarifying. What about zombie pigman and magma cubes though? Also one man's trash may be treasure for another..? (talking bout slime eggs lol)

When they were easily accessible, nobody wanted them. But now peeps be craving the egg. Big oof 10/10
I agree with Zortorch... We already have to save up the points to buy spawners, which takes a fair amount of our points balance. I realise that spawner eggs have been maybe a bit too accessible, but a better alternative would be to make them more expensive. 5k is quite cheap, but if we doubled the price it would be less accessible, yet still easier to buy than using our precious points. These are just some more suggestions to add to Zortorch's list
In my opinion, its not that nobody wanted them per se, its just that people can just get them when they needed it and as a result do not need to publicly ask for them. and when they have enough, excess are then sold off which might give you the impression that nobody wanted them. But then again, this is just my opinion on it which may not be true.
I think having them cost points encourages more activity on the server. Sure it was convenient before, but it was too easy to get such a powerful tool.
How are you making it work, hostile mobs,are turned off in the over world and there aren't any slime chunks in the end or the nether
Personally I would prefer that spawn eggs should not be sold only for points because it means no matter how hard you work without bribing other people for points you will all get the same amount of spawn eggs but if you charged money (like 25k an egg) it would let players work to earn the eggs
