| Spring Building Competition Hello everyone! Im excited to announce that I'll be hosting a building competition. It will start Today (February 21st) and end on March 13th. That means you'll have 3 weeks to finish your build so take your time and please don't rush it. Make sure to be creative and think outside of the box . The theme of this building competition will be Spring. I Prizes > 1st place will receive a $50 coupon. > 2nd place will receive a $25 coupon. > 3rd place will receive a $15 coupon. | Ideas Thinking of a build can be difficult, here are some ideas to help you get started: Flowers, plants and trees Animals (bees, butterflies, frogs etc) Landscaping Gardens & Greenhouses A creative farm How to enter - Comment your IGN, the server the build is in and the coordinates of the build down below I made a little example build, if you want a closer look you can go to /pwarp use Spring on the Potato server. Features: House - 2 stories, Chimney with fireplace, dining set, kitchen appliances, Bedroom, with bookshelf and desk. Outhouse 2 Farms - Carrot, and sugarcane Bird Nest - Blue bird sits and watches over her eggs on the house overhang. Pig pen - Trough and water bucket. One pig enjoys itself in the fresh spring mud Cherry Blossom tree - A display of the famous flowering tree as a true show of seasons changing 2 Deer - The deer are each beneath the Tree, watching the grandfather Farm, and the Daughter in the house. Terrain Specs - Thawing snow around the farm edge, Stone path connecting areas, Newly bloomed flowers, entirely terraformed land plot; using 2 colors of terracotta for a more pleasing looking surface.

I decided to go with an oriental themed festival. Everything beyond the wall up to the giant cherry blossom tree is part of the contest (the village inside the walls was already built prior to the contest). For the best viewing results it is recommended that you use OptiFine and have your chunk settings set to far. Also be sure to view at night as well as day to get the best viewing experience. Feel free to visit the village as well (though it is still under construction). Happy viewing
