(For those of you who don't know what Polyamory is, it having multiple partners that all have consented, and know of other partners, either shared between all of them, or one or more people.) I am Polyamorous, and it kinda sucks that I can't marry both of my partners in game. I wish that we were actually able to marry more than just one person, because its kinda weird to be playing with one of my GF's, yet be married to the other. It kinda seems like I'm picking favorites, when I don't have one.
being that poly marriages is not a legal thing, i think it would be rediculous to allow it on the server.
Polyamory in marriage is not illegal, It's perfectly acceptable and fine for people to love and be with whoever they want to be with I feel what you're saying! I believe PF uses the marry plugin and that it isn't custom coded. ( I could be wrong though! ) So if it is the normal marriage plugin, I doubt this is something PF would incorporate. You can all make a party though!
Poly marriages are illegal. poly relationships are not. one has legal binding the other does not. im all for people loving people whoever they want, BUT i know this is just a plugin for the server, but to put something in just because same sex marriage is now legal without the fight or the battle is eh, maybe im not wording this right, but when we had the whole do we allow ssm, peoples arguements against it was "no, because they will want more than 1 partner or no! cos they will want to marry their pets"(For real. people said this in australia) And yes, i have looked. poly marriages are not legal in america or any other country that is western, they are allowed in the middle east and parts of africa due to religious reasons, such as the muslim religion.
Why does the server need to have relationship stuff in it? the marriage plugin is just a bit of fun. its a bit like real life, if you want to marry more then one person but cant, because you are limited to one, then you gotta pick in game too. unfair yes? but its just like real life.
