This might be already planned or already suggested but it might be cool to add some of the newer blocks to /shop since some of these blocks are fun to build with and sometimes hard to aquire, adding them to shop would provice easy access to these blocks. For example: Basalt (Blocks) Blackstone (Blocks) Chains (Misc) Crimson Logs (Blocks) Warped Logs (Blocks) Crimson Nylium (Blocks) Warped Nylium (Blocks) Crimson Roots (Misc) Warped Roots (Misc) Twisted Vines (Farming Related) Weeping Vines (Farming Related) Nether Sprouts (Misc) Shroomlight (Blocks) Soul Campfire (Misc) Soul Lantern (Misc) Soul Torch (Misc) Soul Soil (Blocks) Target (Blocks) Warped Wart Block (Blocks) etc It might also be fun to add some new mob spawn eggs to /pointshop like the Strider for example
I have a couple problems I could see with some of these things. First off adding things like blackstone, prismarine, basalt, would discourage players to explore the different dimensions to find the lesser common blocks. Same thing with soul soil. As for the warped and crimson wood, one of the P4 requirements for one of the ranks is to obtain 128 of each wood type. And that would just be too easy for players to complete that rank if they can just buy all the logs and chop them down in 3 minutes flat. As for everything else I really like, especially shroomlight that's my favorite light block to use. Hello there! I wanted to suggest adding more Blocks to the /shop command. I only specifically wanted to get Dark Prismarine, Prismarine Bricks and Prismarine blocks added to the /shop but I also noticed the absence of blocks included in the Nether Update and would also suggest adding those to the shop! I prepared a small list of what I suggest to be added: Building Blocks prismarine (as in the block) dark_prismarine prismarine_bricks crimson_stem warped_stem shroomlight magma_block blackstone basalt Farming Related (because leaves are in there, idk): nether_wart_block warped_wart_block In case there are any concerns in regards to the prismarine blocks and the prismarine tools, there is no way to craft them back to prismarine shards, so they will stay decorative ( : Thank you for reading!
I believe that on another suggestion it was replied to saying that the warped and crimson stems not being likely because of one of the requirements to get to p4 and it would make it too easy. Everything else seems great and I agree we need them.
Yes and no because like brick said warped/crimson was needed for p4 rankup, BUT other nether blocks are a good idea because of the painstaking process it is to get some of them. The prismarine blocks although shouldn’t be added because of two things 1: they are easier to get seeing that a lot of people have grinders and 2: they would most likely be worth a lot of money like the sea lanterns (need to have a lot of money to be able to get a bunch to build with). I agree with the blackstone and the nylium for /shop addition. The stems however would make the p4 requirement a bit too easy. But maybe with the potato reset where I believe the full nether is 1.16 and how a lot of people are already p4 on carrot this may make sense. I agree with most of the compressed items but some just seem like they wouldn’t really need to be in a comp form.
Hi! Thank you for your suggestion. There are no current plans to update the /shop, but we will definitely try to keep the community updated. <3 When it comes to compressed items, we only really made them for recipes, so we'd need to come up with a new recipe for each one, so it could fit in and be useful to everyone. The stems wouldn't really make it TOO easy, considering you need to break 64/128 of each log, and you can buy logs off of shop regardless.
tbh. a lot of those comp items would be pointless. why comp stone when there is already comp cobble. and the granite, diorite, blackstone, gravel, soulsand, and regular sand wouldn’t have any reason to be compact. otherwise all sound like a good idea
