With the Halloween event giving a Squid tag and more people fishing lately, I noticed there is very little exposed sky above places with water in spawn. The way fishing works in Minecraft wait time for bite is affected first by lure (reduced 5 seconds per lure level and MCMMO with it's wait time reduction. If it is raining on the bobber it is further reduced by about 20% but if the bobber is not exposed to the sky, the wait time is doubled on average. Suggestion if it is not to much of an alteration to the beautiful looking spawn is clear more sky at least around the fishing area and not just during Halloween season
That used to work well except in tutorial all commands are disabled now so you can't do /fish shop or even go to spawn to sell without running through the whole thing.
You can fish in the fountain at /warp Halloween. It provides open area with sunlight, there is not a lot of space but once it gives you the overfishing message just move a few blocks and after you catch a fish there you can go back to the original spot you were at there and just repeat. Most commands are enabled there as well.
