On an older server i used to play on, there was an /lmc command, aka a Lock Mob Capture command. What this did was let a player capture a tamed horse/llama/donkey/mule into an egg, as long as it was being sat upon. That egg kept the mob's specific data such as pattern, age, speed, health, ect. It made it a lot easier to transport these kinds of mobs Ex. If someone was adventuring and came across a horse they wanted, and was far away from their base (such as an rtp), then the player could tame the horse, LMC it, and teleport back home and place the egg with said horse.
this could be an alternative to the boat tp method. i support this 100%, would be a great addition to the server
I have a feeling it can cause lag to the server, cause holding mobs in place might take up a lot of… stuff
there could be several workarounds our developers and ky can figure out i’d assume! it could still work rather than using boats to move mobs like it used to be before that was removed
since it's just NBT data, throw that stuff into MySQL and it's sorted. Don't see potential for lag if executed correctly.
