This wasn't an issue before the aquatic update (at least not that I'm aware of) but now, with the introduction of turtles, and the fact that turtle eggs have to have the day/night cycle in order to hatch, it has become one. I've seen several people in the past ask, even beg, people not to turn night off only to be ignored. I've even asked on their behalf in the past, and people still change it to day. Now, having delved into turtle breeding myself, I understand their frustration. What should only take 3, maybe 4, day/night cycles can take simply ages when people refuse to let it be nighttime. I'm not going to sit there and beg, but I am annoyed. My only possible solution to this would be a very unpopular one, I'm sure, but if people can't respect others then perhaps it's time to allow no one on the server to change the day/night cycle.
