Winning a fishing or farming contest just gives you money, boosts, or points, and in my opinion, gives a boring incentive, as the rewards are always the same and it may become less valuable as you progress. My solution? : Winning a crate key for winning a contest. What is a Contest Crate? A contest crate is a type of crate that could maybe be added in its own section, near the other crates, in spawn. They would be opened with their own crate key - which could be obtained by winning 1st place in a contest. My two current ideas are Farming Contest crates and Fishing Contest crates. Ideas for Farming Contest Crate Rewards: - An enchanted Diamond or Netherite Hoe - 1-3 of any form of compacted crop - 6x of any farm animal spawn egg - Cow, Chicken, Sheep, or Pig spawner (Rare) - A sword specialized for harvesting animals (Looting 6, Sweeping Edge, Mending, etc.) - Money Note - Point Note Ideas for Fishing Contest Crate Rewards: - An enchanted Fishing Rod - Helmet and/or boots with aquatic related enchants (Depth Strider, Respiration, Aqua Affinity) - Treasure related items (Gold, Diamonds, Name tags, Enchant Books, etc.) - Large amount of any fish (24 - 64) - Money Note - Point Note Why should Contest Crates should be added? Getting a specific crate key for winning a contest would make it much more exciting. The wonder of what you may get from a contest crate would make players eager to participate, as the crates could give random - possibly valuable rewards.
