    Hello!
This tutorial will contain guides on getting many different resources in Minecraft, from building materials like clay to ores like gold and diamond. I'll update this regularly, so read on!

The best way to obtain clay is to find a Swamp biome and harvest it in the small ponds around there. You can also find it easily in rivers, but I would not recommend using oceans due to them being deep and hard to use. Another advantage of swamps is that the clay is almost at surface level, meaning you can stay on the ground and have maximum block breaking speed. Equip yourself with a diamond shovel to easily grind tons of clay. Since every clay block drops 4 clay balls, make sure you regularly compact it into blocks - this can be undone by placing and breaking them.
A great, fast way to get piles of lava is to empty out your inventory, before getting a stack of buckets and travelling to the Nether. Hold left-click while near lava to scoop up different sources. The reason your inventory needs to be empty is because any excess lava buckets will simply fall out and burn. The reason this is so great is because with good angle skills, you can fill up your inventory in seconds. Just be careful of fire, and get a good stock of iron!
The reason you will need gravel is to create concrete blocks. Simply find an extreme hills, grab a diamond shovel (preferably with silk touch - I'll explain later) and search for some gravel. It's easy to find around hills, because they're easy to traverse and have plenty of easy-to-access stone. Gravel has a one in eight chance to drop some flint, and that chance increases with Fortune - do NOT use a fortune shovel, and use a silk touch one to make the gravel always drop gravel.
If you don't mind the type of leaves, then go for oak. Simply go to a jungle, and use shears to rapidly plough through bushes on the ground. If you have /fly, use it to go and get jungle leaves, because the large canopies give a huge quantity of these blocks. Although, if you're flying, remember to use efficiency shears to break blocks instantly. Also, remember to clear your inventory regularly - leaves are very easy to obtain, so your inventory will fill pretty rapidly!
