Today i will talk about how defied the upper ranks are (Prestige+ and above) Usually you climb the ranks in PF expanding your farm, as you rankup you also get better selling prices for your crops. But... once you hit Prestige it will be another 13 rankups until you get another shop, for those 13 ranks you get the same price for the last rank, which absolutely kills any satisfaction with obtaining a new rank, most players don't even bother doing so much to get to the higher ranks, due to it just being a continuous grind towards something that feels out of reach; There's nothing worth working towards.Putting a little more care into the upper ranks will surely push more to want to go above Prestige+ and keep a grasp on the less casual fans of this server.
I agree, Maybe 7.7% increase per crop per level? (or 3.35%) to work your way up to that final 100%(Default -> Prestige1) or 50%(Prestige1 -> Prestige2 and so on) /prices more through 13 ranks
You've made a couple valid points in saying that ranking up can be relatively boring with low incentives each rank. We'll look into this. Here are certain insights I've made, possibly more suggestions can be made around it: 1. If sale prices are added in shorter intervals, ranks would need to be more pricey. 2. Perhaps other incentives can be added that allows for quicker farming, not better prices.
I would definitely like something that sped up farming. Something like every rankup you get 500 "special" claim blocks that double the random tick speed in those areas.
We're currently looking into reviewing this wisely and doing our best to make all of PF's in-game ranks more fun and motivating to play with. Thank you for your suggestion! Currently this thread will be closed; however, probably will be answered again.
