    In this guide we'll cover more bases on the usage of PF Hoppers, but before we do that, I want to touch on a few points I missed on the last guide involving the mechanics of hoppers themselves. If you haven't read the last guide, check that out here;

    Credits to EastcoastChef on Carrot for showing me this.

    Hoppers are a weird thing to work with especially if there's lag involved, and if you don't know what you're doing, or if you don't know how to do things efficiently. There's a lot of bugs and glitches involved with hoppers as well. For example; in the "16 per chunk" design, where you have a wall of chests and a wall of hoppers behind it going into the chests. Functionally, this works by sending the items directly down into the bottom chest first, then progressing up as it fills. However hoppers will sometimes not do this; they can send an item to the adjacent hopper or chest instead, causing your collection to fill unevenly, some chests could fill before others, it could cause clogging problems, and just triggers your OCD as a whole. There are ways to combat this; the easiest way being that you build the staircase chest wall. This sends the items into a chest, and pulls them out into another, one by one individually as it goes down. It could take longer to store yes, but it won't mess up. And let's be honest...how cool does a football stadium of chests make you look to your friends? The other way to combat this is simply by adding a hopper between the PF hopper and the first regular hopper, facing backwards. This will force the items to go directly down into the column of chests they're supposed to. See this example picture;

    Let's show some another collection system shall we?

    The "2-8 per chunk" JoJo, Demetri & Carr (eniloraccaroline)

    This one is just the same as the "16 per chunk" but it uses less PF Hoppers, with the same amount of collection space, and uses that space quite efficiently. Essentially your premise is the same, however it directs all the items to either end of the collection, then fills towards the center. You'd start by building your wall of chests and hoppers going into the chests as you would the "16 per chunk". Then you'd place a regular hopper going downward at either end, and place 6 more regular hoppers pointing towards that hopper at then end while moving towards the center, and then one PF Hopper at the end pointing towards those 6 regular hoppers. Do the same thing for the other side. And for fast farming, or more capacity for a larger farm, use more PF hoppers.

    See demonstration pictures below, pink arrows mark where PF Hoppers are;

    As always, leave feedback, and feel free to send me your collection systems, or even teach me something new! This is all for education and spreading knowledge to everybody, including myself.
